Texas attorneys who are interested in learning more about how to handle disputes with clients using arbitration are encouraged to tune in to an upcoming Texas Bar CLE live webcast on August 25th from 2-3 pm CST.  Update on Attorney/Client Arbitration and Handling Client Disputes will discuss the following topics:

The Texas Supreme Court’s decision in Royston, Rayzor in 2015 resolved several questions about using arbitration provisions in attorney-client agreements. But in practical terms, when should lawyers opt for arbitration? This program addresses the pros and cons of arbitrating attorney-client disputes, considerations in structuring arbitration, and other steps that lawyers can take to avoid or resolve disputes with clients.

Speakers include the Honorable Amy Clark Meachum, Judge, 201st Civil District Court, Charles F. Herring, Herring & Panzer, LLP, and Karl Bayer, Mediator, Arbitrator and Court Master.

Registrants who are unable to attend the live webcast will have until July 31, 2017 to complete the 1 hour program.

We sincerely hope you can make it!
