Foreclosure Mediation Legislation Referred to Senate Judiciary Committee

Sheldon Whitehouse (D – Rhode Island) has introduced legislation that would provide bankruptcy court judges with the option to require homeowners undergoing bankruptcy and their lenders to engage in foreclosure mediation.
